Hi Lily, did you know that light/heat can also cause a chemical reaction? for example i use a runny gel polish and then cure it in the LED lamp that creates heat and causes the gel polish to harden and become a solid. The same as acrylic you have a liquid monomer, place it in some polymer (the powder) and it causes a chemical reaction to form a solid acrylic bead. and baking a biscuit uses heat to make a solids after mixing the dry and wet ingredients. Enjoy the world of science,it is very fasinating and great to write about. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
